Jiani Heng is an Associate
Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of
Mathematics and Statistics, Beijing Technology and
Business University (BTBU). She completed a joint
doctoral program between Dongbei University of
Finance and Economics and Queen's University
(Canada), and subsequently held a position as a
Special Research Assistant (Postdoctoral Fellow) at
the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science,
Chinese Academy of Sciences. She serves in several
academic and professional roles, including Youth
Council Member of the Forecasting and Business
Intelligence Branch of the Chinese Society of
Optimization, Overall Planning and Economic
Mathematics; Session Chair at the 2026 MeETech
International Conference; Member of the Academic
Affairs Committee of the Shaanxi Green and
Low-Carbon Society; Youth Editorial Board Member of
the journal Data Science and Management; and Guest
Editor for a special issue of the SCI-indexed
journal Electronics. Her research focuses on
forecasting theory and methodology, energy economic
analysis, and machine learning and big data
analytics. She has published over 30
SCI/SSCI-indexed academic papers in journals
including Nature Communications, IEEE Transactions
on Power Systems, Applied Energy, and
Knowledge-Based Systems, with two papers recognized
as ESI Highly Cited Papers in the top 1% globally in
the field of Engineering and Technology. She has led
a Youth Project funded by the National Natural
Science Foundation of China (NSFC), a project funded
by the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social
Sciences Fund, and has completed a General Program
of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation as
principal investigator. She has also participated as
a co-investigator in several Major Projects of the
National Social Science Fund, as well as NSFC and
provincial- and ministerial-level research programs.
Shaobo Zhai
Northwestern Polytechnical University, China
Shaobo Zhai received the B.S.
and M.S. degrees from Northwestern Polytechnical
University, Xi’an, China, in 2019 and 2022,
respectively, where he is currently pursuing the
Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering with
the School of Automation. To date, he has published
more than 20 papers in top-tier journals and
prestigious conferences as the first author or
corresponding author. As the primary inventor, he
has filed 10 Chinese invention patents, among which
3 have been granted. Additionally, he has authored
three academic monographs published by Publishing
House of Electronics Industry and Springer. His main
research interests include flight management for
civil airliners, advanced flight control of unmanned
aerial vehicles (UAVs), evolutionary computation and
intelligent decision-making.
